Why do businesses have a bad name???

I feel business is a set up that has systems in place to facilitate change, manage the market risk, drive forward a culture of innovation and foster creativity. It has the ability and an obligation to serve the society and get monetary remuneration for the same.
However, over the period of time, the priority for businesses across the world have changed. They have started to become more profit-centered. They have ignored their moral role of transforming the society by developing necessity goods, and have moved towards mass production to sell more.
Thus, this change in approach by businesses has led to loss of faith among the people, thereby, giving businesses a bad name.

I wish to live in a world where there is acceptance of new ideas. A world where we do not hold biased views towards people, communities or nations.
I dream of a world wherein we encourage people to make mistakes, albeit new ones. Why is it that we are so obsessed with being perfect? Why can we not just be the way we are? I desire to live in a world wherein there is no rat race, where each person is free to follow his own passion in life. My ideal world is a world where every individual is an agent for change. We can then change the world one man at a time.

What kind of world you want to live in?

What kind of world you want to live in?

I would want to live in the world where Nature is nurtured.
People feel nature is not a very essential and are cutting down trees regardless of even knowing the importance of it. A world without any false beliefs and following would also be a wonderful futuristic world. Nature endows us with many surprises butman considers these as a bad omen and destroyssuch godsend wonders. Once I visited a house andwas surprised to see an unnaturalmulti-branched papaya tree and every branchwas heavily laden with fruits. I photographed the tree. After a fortnight I again visited theplace and found the tree missing. I enquiredabout the tree from one of the family memberand he said, “Pundit ji told me that such tree bringsbad luck and so we have felled it” GOD MAKES, MAN UNMAKES!
So let us all get together and MAKE the world a better place…….

What Kind of world do you want to live in?

I want a world where there is no violence. Poverty should not be exist in the world. Everyone should get a work and definitely meals for day according to their ability so that no one have to beg. In addition I want a world which is not surrounded by tress. There should not be terrorism and natural calamities. In addition I want a world which is a less crowded and less polluted. one should get an equal opportunity to do something what a person really wants to do.

What kind of world do we want to live in

I want to live in a world in which a person understands and values the things that he has. For example we always grumble of the things which we donot have and we forget to enjoy things which we have. I want to like to live in a world which has a lot of competition because competition brings best within yourself, a world where trust could be the basis of business and relations, a world in which their is less or no gap between rich and poor, a world in which person richness would be counted in terms of the nuber of people he helped to climb the ladder and gave a chance to create and utilise opportunities and not in the world where people kill each other to reach the top. A world which progress continuously and its benefit are enjoyed by everyone.

What kind of world do we want to live in

A world that is stress free and violence free, wherein all human beings live like a one world family, wherein every individual lives life as an expression of happiness and not in pursuit of happiness.

A world wherein with the help of advanced technology, mankind is able to allocate resources from places with abundant supply of resources to places facing the extremes of scarcity. A world which is not taken for granted for all the resources that are made available to us by nature, a world which respects every living and non living form of existence on the planet.

I would like to live in a world which has qualities such as patience and tolerance, and gratitude for what we have received. A world which is ready to explore, a world which wants to focus on the strengths rather than holding onto the weaknesses.

What kind of a world you wan to live in...?

A world where there is less poverty (less because if there is no poverty the world is fictitious), where joint family exist, where innovation and idea generation is a day to day thing, where corruption does not exist, where politicians actually work for the people and where people thank God and the environment for whatever they have received.

What kind of a world would you like to live in?

How do you see yourself living in the future? Has the world finally become a better place? Did all the advancements in technology and innovations have any role to play towards it? Why is it that we strive for improvement and perfection? Since centuries we human beings have shown one clear trait and that is constant change for the better. Be it the weapons we use to hunt with, the clothes we wear or even the manner in which we cook our food.
Although we have come a long way from our prehistoric style of survival we need to ask ourselves - Will we ever draw a line? Will our needs ever end? The constant attempts to fulfill our needs lead to many great inventions which have become an integral part of our lives. Many of these great innovations make lives easy for us, many of them actually save our lives, while others are just another drop in our pool of leisure.
New ideas, innovations and creations are constantly changing the world around as we constantly attempt to keep up. Many years from now perhaps the more sensible and simpler question to ask would be, "What has remained the same?". One cannot help but take a moment to wonder what our world would look like in the future. Would it be for the better or the worse? Many products even today undergo such drastic design makeovers to enhance their appeal, quality or functionality that many of them will be unrecognizable or obsolete in the future.
The world i see myself living in is extremely advanced especially in terms of technology. Life will become even more relaxed if that's even possible. But with the advancement of technology it is important certain issues which blotch the world be addressed and resolved. If we are unable to present such productive and progressive solutions then we are only moving forward to slide backward again...

Why do we need design?

I see design as a way of life. Design for me requires a divergent viewpoint for generating ideas, yet grounding them in the constraints faced by us. We often have very set notions about how a particular product can function. A product’s efficiency need not be a function of its price. Rather it depends upon our ability to think out of the box, to challenge set notions. Design thinking encourages us to tinker around the product, with specific goals in mind. Every new feature cannot be a value addition unless it addresses the core function of the product.

What is Design???

Design is a great medium to make money. But the question is- Is it easy??? Well, If one has the capability to observe the surroundings well and develop a product which will become the need of the consumer.

However, it requires a lot of factors which needs to be considered. I think design is a form which is invented and innovated to produce a product which impacts the market thoroughly. A few of the factors are
Asking the right question
Identifying the need of a product in the future
Establishing the market demand with the product

Design thinking plays a vital role. It requires the capability in the human being to modify the prevailing object or develop a new product which adds value to the economy.

Design is not necessary restricted to a from or a structure. It can be used in processes etc.

Well, I think that Design is the most reliable way to make money. It is simple- to develop a unique way to enhance the value of an object.

What is Design????

What is Design???

Design refers to the plan or convention for preparing an object or a system. Every different field has a different interpretation of what a design is. One can say that everything on the earth that have design element in it. Let it be man made or a creation of God. Each and every thing is having a specific design which can be modified but yet there will be a design that will be obtained on being replaced. The best example of a wonderful design is the leaf which has different textures on each one. There are lots that one can learn from the texture of the leaf. There are two different ways that one can produce wonderful designs by following only two thoughts which has been taught to us over the years.

KISS: Keep it Simple Silly

TIM-TOW-TDI: There is more than one way to do it

Most creators and designers follow the above two aspects while they get into innovation and creation of any new idea.

My favourite site...

From the creative to sometimes obscure, this website has it all. It is one of my favourite sites and has some truly unique stuff. Thought it could be useful as a study for all of us.

Why do we need Design?

In my view, Design is just not attached to a product but it is beyond a product. The plant layout can also be called, the system set up can also be design. Design is a form of a structure which makes product or services more interesting and attractive. Design is a imagination to see something at a different point of view. Design provides more usage of products and services. In my view design brings out more productivity.

Design

A design is not only the physical attribute of the product which we can see from outside but also includes its features. When we design a aproduct we should keep into the mind the various ways in which a product can be used and similarly it should be feasible with consumers

&(*^# Why do we need design $@!%

Design is a tool that helps to come up with a product that can help a consumer connect with what he/ she wants to achieve. Thus, in order to be able to satisfy the key requirements of your consumer, you need to have a thorough understanding of the product in terms of how the consumer perceives the product, the different uses of your product and what changes need/ can be made to the existing product. Design helps develop a product that can capitalize on the gap existing between the demand and supply functions, thereby satisfying the needs of the consumer. A unique design can help one attain exponential growth through market expansion.

The beginning !

There has been a lack of space to express our thoughts, a few great ideas and many other things that are happening in our lives  during this journey of Entrepreneurship. This blog is dedicated to all the students and faculty who could offer their learning and reflections for others to view.

I am really hoping that each one of us will actively participate in this space.

As we progress, we will keep working on the design and the content of the blog.

Happy blogging !
